How do I tell if my Wilson Thermold mag is preban?

  Email www.thermoldproducts.com and ask if they are dated.

  It should be marked LE law enforecment if it is post ban.

  I presume if it was made DURING the ban it will be marked "LE Only" in some way. If it was made before (pre) or after (post)the ban it will have no marking.
  
  I would say if it carries no "LE Only" marking on it and no date stamps, Wilson may be able to tell you based on design or material changes in the manufacturing process. You may want to call the company for help.
  
  You may want to check the laws of your state regarding hi cap mags. In CA we're allowed to replace hi cap mag parts to include the body. Having (for example)an AR 15 magazine with a 1992 follower, spring & floorplate on a new hi cap body is not unusual nor illegal.
