    45-70 made in July of 1886. I can't remember what arsonal that "T" stands for off the top of my head.
    While I see yours is .050 short of a normal 45-70, it's within the "normal" range for the era.
    That said, it is closer to length to a M-33 Cannon primer, but the copper case takes that out of consideration.
