I am looking for another, nice, short barreled revolver. I now have a 66-2, 2" barrel, nickel and like it a lot. I am trying to buy one for the wife. Presently looking at a very nice 15-3, K frame in .38 special with a 2" barrel, blued, and adj rear sight. Does anyone know anything negative about this model gun and how does it compare to the 66-2, other than the 66 will shoot 357 ammo? Priced about $600.00. Help appreciated...thanks! 0 -
There are both wide triggers and hammers that will fit the "K" frame model 15. They are called target hammer and target triggers.
Model 15s dont come from the factory with the target features as they are not considered "target" guns but "combat" guns. The 15 is also known as the "Combat Masterpiece"0 -
It could have been changed or ordered that way. 0 -
The only way to know for sure is to contact the factory and get a letter showing how it left. 0 -
Standard equipment was narrow hammer and trigger. Target hammer and trigger were a factory option. If it has wide trigger and narrow hammer, the trigger has been replaced. 0
