Full auto Laws
I have been looking around the forums, and unfortunately I can not find it. What are the laws in owning a burst shot or a full auto m16 (or any gun for that manner)? I live in Wisconsin. Do I have to pay a yearly fee? or just a lot of tax on it? I know full auto or burst shot guns are expensive, but what if I win the lottery and want to own one? What is the process? Also the long gun would have to be registered right? I just don't know. Thanks!

I live in the free state of Arkansas.
Where are you?
Different states have different laws.

To finish your sentence "full auto laws....are wholly UNconstitutional!"
to answer your question, it varies by state but the federal part there is a one time $200 transfer tax that has to be paid each time ownership changes. but on a federal level there is no recurring tax or liscense.
If you want a FA weapon you need to have VERY DEEP pockets since teh Cheapest "legal" FA weapon I have seen is around 10k.
Suppressors are a bit cheaper since they can still be made ans sold to "lowly citizens"0 -
Good luck with full auto anywhere.
