    i am trying to find out if anyone other than remington makes a automatic 410 hunting gun.

    That's what I was gonna say... The Rem is probably better for hunting and the saiga better for home defense due to the drop mags.

    I have a Rem and a complete barrel set. It took me about 18 months to get one of each of the barrel choke types. They are great guns.

    The 1100 I had was 2 1/2 inch only, the Saiga is 3 inch.

    If you decide to get one, specify the chamber length you want. The Skeet guns (mine anyway, Tournament Skeet) has a 2-1/2 " chamber. I THINK the standard gun would come with a 3" chamber unless ordered otherwise.

    He is correct, the cartridge length it accepts, depends on the choke. My Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full are all 3" chambers except skeet which is 2.5"
