The current modelis the 625 so the gun you are looking at is "old stock".

I have a 525 sporting golden clays and it is loaded with engraving. Not sure what the value would be for a model without engraving but in my opinion it would make for a substantial reduction in value.

Thank you. It seems it was to be engraved by a distributer, but I don't know. What do you think would be appropriate cost for this gun?

is the receiver entirely unmarked or does it have browning on the sides and the model number & grade on the bottom of the receiver? what's the seller asking for it? possibly one between the 525 to 625 transition? get the serial number and call browning. i think a plain silver nitride receiver would look great! a grade 0! (and yes, i still love my grade 1 425[:)] )

It is completely clean with no markings. I have tried to call Browning but have not been able to get a hold of them. Here is a link to the place that has it. The gun actually looks a lot nicer than the pics. Let me know what you think. show.http://www.{elsewhere}/902921660/Guns/Shotguns/Browning-Shotguns/Over-Unders/Citori/Trap-Skeet/Browning_525_Unique_Sporting_no_engraving_12ga_32_as_New.htm#
