Help with Romanian AK 75 rd Drum

I have a 75 rd drum that is loaded from the top. I can't get but one rd in it. I know that the lever on the front is supposed to be moved with each new rd but this has no effect. I removed the back of it and after messing with the fake rds that are on top I can then move them down so as to be able to get a couple of more rds in the drum. Seems the fake ones are hanging up but can't seem to see why. Any suggestions on the problem?

  Find the proper loading/troube shooting instructions by doing a google search...[:)]

  i just keep pushing them in until they stop and then work the lever up a few times to continue loading and repeat as necessary.
