Model 1890 with 62A carrier

Can a model 1890 .22 short or long carrier be swapped out for a model 62A carrier, thus enabling it to handle short, long and LR?
Just wondering if the parts are interchangeable. TIA

  Yes it can, but I also had the barrel relined.

  Thanks legn4. I was planning on having the barrel relined too. If you don't mind me asking, who did your relining?

  Yes, you can swap the carrier, but the chamber length for the 22 Short is not long enough to allow a 22 LR to fully chamber.
  
  Additionally, the barrel twist rate for the 22 Short and 22 Long is 1:20 versus 1:16 for an original 22 LR. Shooting standard 22 LR ammo in a 1:20 twist rate barrel will result in poor accuracy.
