.30 Newton Brass

I have an opportunity to buy a bull gun built on a Model 70 action,
chambered for .30 Newton - really nice custom rifle.
My concern is reloadable brass. Has anybody tried reforming this calibre from .375 Ruger or .375 Ruger basic brass? It has been said Jamison makes new brass in this calibre. I can't find a source though. (Huntingtons is out of stock)

I sure would appreaciate any help.

    I believe that there is some out there I have 5 or 6 origional pieces. Check online with the large wholesale people like Graf.

    or you can use 7mm rem. mag brass, the body will fireform to the belt dia., looks a little funny but works fine. full lenght resize in a .30 newton die and fireform.

    I've used belted brass and it works fine. I have a pile of 375 Ruger brass and they look like they will work without problems. I have not had time to make any but the Ruger brass I think is the way to go.

    I would like to thank everyone for their valuable information regarding .30 Newton brass.
    While reading Cartridges of the World, I found another possible
    source of brass - German 8X68S magnum. Don't know if it can
    be had with boxer primer pockets though.
