Ruger mark 2 barrel removal from frame

Okay so how do I do this on this .22 auto? Is the barrel screwed in? looks like the feedramp is a square piece attached to the barrel and thus cant be unscrewed, but I see no pins holding the barrel in. Is it pressed in? Anybody ever take one of these things off? I have the proper shape barrel vise and receiver wrench, just dont want to "give her a go" if it isnt screwed in or if the feed ramp will spring the receiver. Take down books make no mention of this.

    Okay thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a try anyway. I read all about how tight the jap Arisaka barrels were screwed in, how you had to cut the barrel off then lathe bore the remaining out so you could salvage the action. I was able with my set-up to get the barrel off no problem. If this Ruger doesn't want to come out easy enough I'll just work on it as is.

    A little heat to the receiver, no more than 400 deg, and it will come right off. No, 400 deg will not harm the receiver.

    TSR, If you would have read my question, you would see that I asked if there was any pins holding the barrel (or by association the feedramp) in. Before torquing off the barrel i wanted to make sure Ruger didnt have any hidden pins there. But thanks for your time.
    264fan, thanks for the info, I'll apply a little heat to the receiver as per your advice. I'll make sure to keep it well under 400. Thanks.

    I took a tight barrel off an old Mauser barrel by putting the barreled action in the freezer a few days and dipped the action in boiling water.Made it a lot easier.
