What does this Main Spring Housing Style B fit?
Sorry, both my good cameras are broken. Looks like a 1911 part to me, from what I can tell on the auction side. I didn't see one over there with a rounded profile though. Any help is appreciated.

Hello the 1911 had a straight smooth mainspring housing the 1911A1 had an arched mainspring housing depending on who made the part some Arched mainspring housings were grooved and some were checkered. Yours looks like an aftermarket part to me I see no Military makers or commercial Colt that is grooved straight 0 -

So it is a 1911 part, just aftermarket? I am unfamilar with 1911s in general. Would this work for 1911 and 1911A1 pistols?0 -
Oh yes it will work if not for a short grip frame model that takes a 6 round Magazine like an officers model.Use the spring and othe r two parts that are in the current installed one and the small pin with a head to hold it all together I dont know what the small part in your picture is not in focus. 0 -

It is a spring and a half cylinder shaped piece of some sort. It has a small ridge on the end and it looks used.0
