Winchester Model 25
Does anyone know what a winchester model 25 in 95% condition is worth, it is a 12 ga.28 inch full choke barrel.it looks like a model 12,what does not a take down model mean,the barrel wont come off? thanks bridgebuilder41

The Model 25 production was relatively short lived. Serial number 1 was delivered to the warehiuse on March 17th, 1949, and production ended with serial number 87937 in December of 1954. My guess is that your gun is either a late 1949 or early 1950 production gun. There should be a 2-digit year number stamped on the bottom of the barrel near its junture with the receiver frame.
Edit: I do not know what they are worth, as they do not have much of a collector following.0 -
