Remington mod. 12 .22 short
I would like to ask any Remington buffs about a Remington mod. 12 It is marked on the left side of the receiver "Gallery Special Model 12"
It has a 24" oct. bbl. that is marked 22 short. Information I have been able to find indicates there is a letter (A,B,CS) that should apply to this model. Would the letter be marked on the gun or should I just know which letter applies to this gun[?]

if my memory serves me right.. it should be marked on the barrel next to the receiver on the left side.
