Kleinguenther sniper/tactical rifle

I have a 300 win mag sniper/tactical rifle built by Robert Kleinguenther. I called phil from KDF firearms for information on the rifle and was told it was one of six or seven they had built as sniper/tactical rifles. The first I beleive he said was a gift for the Seguin Police Dept. It has a fluted barrel and a custom stock with inlets. I asked him how much he thought it was worth and he said around 3,000 dollars. I just wanted to know if that was an accurate assumption. The rifle is in very very good condition. I just wanted to know because i'm thinking of selling it. I would post pictures if I knew how.

    Hello in my opinion selling a high dollar used Tactical rifle will be a challenge. Todays market is very tough money is tight and used custom rifle are always a hard sell. I would call Phil back and see if he would sell your rifle on consignment.

    With all due respect, I have to disagree with perry shooter through personal experience. Tactical rifles and custom tactical rifles are selling at a brisk pace, both new and used. If in doubt, check some of the tactical forums. Most of the rifles being sold are in the $3,000 to $5,000 range.

    The only suggestion I can offer is to get some of the information down in writing and verified so it can used for selling the rifle. You need to be able to back up whatever you say about the rifle and it's provenance.

    Photographs are an important feature of selling anything these days and firearms are no different. You will have an extremely hard time selling anything custom if you don't, won't or can't supply pictures. There is s 'Sticky' at the top of this forums titled "Posting Photographs" which should help with your problem.
