SMITH AND WESSON M&P 15 223 QUESTION ?

Not sure if this is a dumb question but how do you set this gun up for a sling ? It has the rear swivel and a spot it looks to screw in a stud in the front under the barrel .. Where do you get the stud ? Thanks..

  Does this have a rail on it?? If so there you can get them from Brownells or Midway. Midwest Industries makes them as well as any one that sells AR parts.

  Mine is a M&P15T, with the rail forend. It came with the M4 sling swivel on the butt, and a clamp-on swivel on the forend. It also came with a nylon sling. I took the swivels and sling off and went with a single-point arrangement by Blackhawk.
  
  I bet Brownell's can fix you up.
