why are some colt commandos marked with a flaming bomb and some are not? i thought all commandos from 42-45 went to the military! someone told me that colt did not mark theirs!! just don't know thanks

  Many were given to defense plant guards, sort of like Homeland Defense. I just bought one used that way from the son of the guard at a chemical plant. No bomb cartouche.
