Colt Model 1927 Ejercito Argentino

I have a Colt M1911A1 Argentine model 1927 (Hartford) that is serial numbered 5XXX. The slide, barrel, and magazine have matching serial numbers. The condition of the blued finish has minor scratches and the grips are worn. Otherwise the lands and grooves and actions are perfect. It is definitely one of the 10,000 originally made for the Argentine army. Any idea what this would be worth?

    That makes me suspicious right at the get-go. Has this pistol been refinished? The difference in value between a refinished example and one with a well worn but totally original finish will be substantial. Examples with original finish in the condition you describe are very rare and command large premiums.

    Hello If your pistol is all original finish it Could be a nice find These pistols used to be cheap but were sleepers Today they can't hide . If you tell me about grips Color and what they are made of I can tell you if correct also describe the checkering or lack thereof on the mainspring housing.
