can understand your dilemma--I looked at numrich-cabelas, midway and a boatload of other places and NOBODY carried it in .223-they only had it in .243 and up. Keep checking the auctions. Will a 7600 magazine work?

They don't have a 7600 magazine in 223 Remington that I am aware of...only for the 7615 and that takes the standard AR magazine.

Don't know if he's still in business, but you can try Richard Pearson, The Clip Joint, 814-827-2371 Centerville, PA

I do know that some early 760 magazines can be interchanged. For example I have both a 35 Rem and 300 Sav made in the early 50's. Both can use each other's magazine. I suspect a 257 Robers, 243, & 308 would do the same. I am not sure about the 223...but you could try.

I have tried...no go. The 223 magazine is unique unto itself.

Try Jim Shaffer in Western Pa he has always had some hard to find Remington mags over the years .. We have done business with him several times. Good luck ..
