Pauline or Bert Can You ID a Marlin Engraver?

I'm hoping one or both of you might be able to identify the engraver of this 1893 Marlin. I contacted Cody and "No Records are available". Thanks! Ed

    The Ulrichs also engraved for Marlin and Colt. Your pix are looking pretty good to me but let me do a little more scrutinizing.

    Actually, I can not. But I agree with Pauline in that it looks a lot like something one of the Ulrich's engraved (possibly Herman L. Ulrich).

    Definitely Ulrich. That's great! By the way, it is amazing to see two factory engraved guns in twenty four hours. I get so disgusted with all the phonies that seeing this makes my day. I used to tell people only one out of ten that I look at has been done by a factory engraver. The last few years it is more like one in twenty. Good find!

    I would think a letter of authenticity from Pauline would hold alot of weight. Pauline have you thought about offering this service?
