Older Weaver Scopes
Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the following:
Weaver K2.5
Weaver K2.5-1
Weaver K2.5-60
Weaver K2.5-60B
Weaver K2.5-60C
I've been seeing these model numbers on various on-line advertisements, but I haven't a clue what the functional differences may be. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out on this.

K2.5 first made 1947 then came all the changes I don't have dates of each change but the turret cap desige was changed 2 or three times as well as some early adjustment did not have clicks. I also think the eye piece diameter was larger on the later ones. as well as the objective lens Bell size. 0 -
They also changed the lens retaining rings from brass to die-cast to plastic. The plastic ones are, unfortunately, extremely prone to fatigue cracking. 0
