I just got lyman alaskan scope serial number 52720,and want to sell it,can you help me put a number on it fo ebay.Good shape

  I recently bought a rifle that has a Lyman Alaskan All Weather scope, serial number A1134X mounted in Resfield Jr rings. Try as I may, I cannot find the Date of Manufacture of this scope. Can anyone help me. Thanks

  There are no serial number listings for the older Lyamn scopes, therefore, it is not possible to determine when exactly it was manufactured.

  Hello the Alaskan is a 2.5X scope made 1939-1957 some had no adjustments Fixed model then later others are adjustable but adjustments are exposed and the last models had turret caps . The great thing about these scopes are The Long EYE relief.
