I purchased the revolver at the link in the subject line. It was advertised as a Ruger Bearcat 22LR. I think it is a single six. I don't want out of the deal, but instead ask that any of you which care to look provide your thoughts and opinion.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR IMBEDDING A LINK (Windows users)
Begin to type your forum topic. Then, minimize the page (click on the dash in the upper right corner of the page).
Go to START, then select INTERNET EXPLORER (or whatever other browser you are using), & open another Gunbroker window & go to the auction (or whatever else you want to show us). Left click your mouse on the blank area of the page address in the address bar at the top of the page; the entire address will be highlighted. Then, right click your mouse & select COPY. Minimize the page you are working on.
Go back to the forum page you were on (click on the name in the tool bar at the bottom of the screen). Left click your mouse on the place where you want the link to appear. Then right click your mouse & select PASTE. Complete your posting, & click on REVIEW to make sure you did it correctly before you click on the POST key.0 -
Pretty hard to confuse the two. But, if the cylinder is fluted it's not a Bearcat. 0 -
I found it. It appears to be a "New Model Single Six" with the unfluted magnum cylinder. The convertible Bearcat is very rare as most of them were recalled. They had fixed sights and sell for over $1,500 if you can find one. Here's a picture of one:

The latest version has black rubber grips instead of walnut but basically the same gun. Note the unfluted magnum cylinder:0 -
Thank you so much Spider7115 for the link on posting a link and for the information concerning the identity of the revolver. I was pretty certain it was not a bearcat, but thought asking the experts was prudent. Also, as I indicated, I am not going to upset the deal as I am satisfied with apparent excellent condition of the gun. 0 -

You're welcome. Actually, you got it for a very good price and will probably like it better than a Bearcat unless you have very small hands. Plus, you have both cylinders. Enjoy!0
