Llama .380 questions

I have a Llama .380 ser #A70417 (above trigger on frame) and 588 on barrel and slide (with perhaps a "Y" or martini glass shape after #'s). Also, on frame is an unknown stamp, followed by an upside-down "wishbone" shape and E2.

The grips are smooth walnut?
It has a grip safety, too.
I am looking for any info available. esp age.
I have searched for hours and am coming up empty. Any help out there?

Oh yeah, I did find out how to disassemble and did so. And as the writer said, "dang near impossible to reassemble". I need help with that, too.

  i've read that these later models aren't reliable, etc., but it has always performed flawlessly and is tight as a drum. my dad got it somewhere. my chief coomplaint is it's weight. too heavy for a small pistola.
