1894 Cartridge Ejection Problem
The rifle has good lever action and cycles fine, but when I chamber a cartridge I can't get the finger lever to move to remove the shell caseing (stuck in place). I can eject the shell with a lot of finger lever force. I have taken it apart three times, but don't see the problem. I just bought the 113 year old rifle in good, clean, tight condition. It may have new/used changed out parts. Any ideas what the problem may be?

When you get the stuck cartridge case out of the chamber, do you see any mars, scratches, or dents on the shell case? 0
