AR 10 bolt/ bolt carrier Lube ??

Can one over lube the bolt on the AR-10? I would not think so, but I am not sure. Thanks in advance .

  There is only so much lube needed, anything beyond that is guess could be considered over-lube. I put a few drops of lube on the gas rings and coat the inside of the bolt lightly.
  
  A light coat of lube on the contact surfaces of the bolt carrier is all thats needed.

  XF7 weaponslube is really good.. Miltec1 is a good lube also, so is mc2500 oil..

  Yes, you CAN over lube. WAY to much can interfere with operation. Firearms with direct gas impingement can burn lube into carbon. Easy does it.
