To Grease or not to Grease

Hello All!

Long ago I was taught to grease the shiny spots and oil the rest. I am interested in knowing what you guys do for with your automatic pistols. I am leaning towards using Tetra products.

  On auto pistols, rails of the slide, underside of slide get a light touch of grease, CLP for hammer, barrel/bushing, firing pin, disconnector.
