Gunsmith Needed, Shotgun Scope Mounting
I am looking for a gunsmith for a scope mounting project. I live in Virginia but would be willing to mail the barrel and mount. It involves drilling and tapping my Stevens 940 16ga shotgun. I measure just under .200" wall thickness on the chamber. The H&R NEF single shot guns use 3 screws and it looks to me that this would be a similar installation. My Bushnell Scopechief IV-M 1.5x-4.5x is about the same age (mid 60s) and the gun has been my favorite for shotgun only deer hunting.

Let us know how your test fire groups turn out after you mount the scope. And what ammo you settle on. 0 -
