What is the best value for a lazer for a Kel-tec p-11? I do not carry.

Crimson Trace. Not the cheapest but you asked for best value. I'm not sure if they make one for the P-11, I know they do for the PF-9, the P3AT and P32.

Coming in second would be Arm-a-laser, I know they make one for the P11, it's around $120 and has the advantage of no on/off switch, it turns on when you put your finger in the trigger guard.

I'm not sure anything else would fit since the P11 has no rail to mount a laser on.

I think the question has been answered.

I have to ask, if you're not carrying, why bother with a laser?

BTshooter, just for my wife or me to keep by the bed. It might be easier to shoot at night.

    Gotcha, makes perfect sense.

So that said, I should point out that the P11 is really quite a handful of a gun for NON-concealed carry. The trigger pull isn't light, the grip is kind of boxy, and recoil is harsh.

Not ideal as a "chick" gun, in my opinion.

For the purpose you suggest (a combination "nightstand"/wife gun), personally I've got a 4" bbl Smith model 19 with a trigger as slick as glass. I keep it handy with 158 grain .357 magnum rounds, but .38+Ps could work too.
