Just checking out my new shotgun. It came with 5 choke tubes and each and every one of them has a very nice sized burr on the inside where the wrench notch's are. Looks like a good pattern disrupter to me. Apparently these notches are stamped in. Gonna have to get the Dremmel out tomorrow and smooth these things out. BTW they're Mossberg chokes. Anyone else find these things? Dave

    does anyone know where i can get a choke for a 410? like an old cutters choke that screws on to the end of the barrel

    Have you considered seeing what it would cost for a smith to install a removable choke? Probably not much more than to thread the barrel for an external choke.

    yes, i have found briley can get it done for about $525, i was trying to cut a corner cause my barrel already is threaded on the outside thanks

    Holy crap. I guess I've been out of the loop for a while the last time I checked (probably 10 years ago) the smith told me he could do it for about $70 and that was with a choke tube.
