Barrett M82 50 BMG

I got mine with Swaroski 500m to 2000m scope with Habicht reticle. I remember reading somewhere that I can sight it in at 33 meters (110 ft) and it should be about the same as 500 meters, is it so

  You should go to the Barrett site or the 50 Cal. shooter site. Lots of great info. there! I don't shoot the 82, I shoot the 99. But, I may move into the 82! [:)]

  That sounds like a nice set up. You could check the ballistic charts. Your actual s may vary based on ammunition choices. Aside from range and estimates.
  Baseline data from barret would be a good start.

  I believe what that means is you use the first crossbar below the cross hairs to get a ruff zero at 33 yards.. then you use the cross hairs at 500 yards to fine tune the base 500 yard zero. I'd imagine that standard olin/atk american M33ball/M8API are the standard rounds used with the barret.
  
  dont buy cheap foriegn surplus, Use american made ammo.
