Anyone know the euro measure of the .270 round?

  I believe that it's 6.8mm. "6.8 X 61"

  Close, but not quite
  6.8x64
  
  Note that the 30-06 is the 7.62x63mm, and that the 270 case is a mm longer (the same length as the 30-03, 7.62x64, case)
