get a new friend I suspect he broke the firing pin many people will disagree but the hammer ,firing pin and Bolt are all designed to transfer energy in one direction but they can break under dry fire when no primed shell is in place to absolve the shock. Just like other things I don't loan my wife my power tools or my fire-arms.

Open the action all the way, lever pointing down. Take a small pin or rod & push the rear of the firing pin forward. Look at the front of the breach block to see if it protrudes. When firing a '94 the lever has to be closed all the way too. A safety thing, Eddie

Are you going by what "he siad" or did you try to fire it yourself?

    he siad it dont fire/quote]

not sure what that actually means, firing pin busted, or won't feed or.......? make sure he was using the right ammo and not trying to run 30-30 thru it.
    just a thought.
