Hello enzobdman,
Greetings and G'day to you. I'll mention the same thing that anyone else would as well. Include photos and any and all other pertinent information that you can discern re. that firearm .... you would then rcv. any and all info and/or opinions, that anyone here on GB would have. Good luck to you.0 -
PS: What have yu done re. the dent? Did you take Gary up on his offer? Or are you waiting to see what you've got first? Let everyone know what you find out and which way you go! 0 -
Hello just a bit of information that may be relevant before the 1968 gun control act in the U.S. rifles and shotguns did not by law need a serial number. So it would be very hard to tell when a Fox Model B was made if it had no serial. Some countries that accepted fire-arms from the U.S. had the maker put serial numbers on these imported guns and sometimes the importing country placed their own numbers . The AH and LC may be a code used by FOX as to year produced. I see codes for Iver Johnson but not FOX model B the higher grade AH FOX Co. do have serial numbers. 0 -
IIRC, the Fox model B is a Savage product as is the Stevens 311 and they are the same gun. If the gun were made before 1968 maybe it never had a S/N when it left the factory as stated by perry shooter.
