this is easy to identify it is a Geco not Mauser. 0 -
It's called a DSM34.Mauser designed the rifle and started production in 1934. Mauser may not have had the facilities to produce what was required, but for whatever reason, up to maybe a dozen different companies produced the rifles.They were used as trainers in the Nazi youth and other para-military organizations and were sold commercially. Here are a Mauser, BSW and Walther

To help with valuation we would have to have photos showing the complete rifle. It would only have collectors value if it's factory original. Many had their stocks etc., sporterized when they were brought home by our G.I. as souvenirs. 0
