Rheinmetall waren NR4 value

I have inherited a rheinmetall nr4 shotgun of unknown gauge which appears to be in good+ condition. I know little about the shotgun other than what was in a 70's mag article and was wondering what the value of one of these guns is or who I could contact for an appraisal. Also, whether or not it is sought after or just a run of the mill weapon.

  If none of our folks can help you? You might try GOOGLEing for a forum named "Shotgun World". As it's name suggests, most of the guys who hang their are scattergun oriented. A number of them are collectors and dealers from Europe, where your shotguns value would be likely greatest.
  
  The Rheinmetall is a very uncommon and little known semi-auto shotgun. For it to have any great collectors value it would have to be in Factory Original, Very Good to Excellent condition. Rarity isn't synonymous with value unfortunately, demand is what fosters value.
