CD DV-24 couple questions?
Anyone have experience with this model particularly? I've found reviews on the d-m4 and d-m4le they make/made but can't find much on the target / varmint model. I've never owned an AR so this would be my first, the reviews look pretty good for the others but was wondering about this specific model. Found one for $1k brand new, not a "great" deal but looks slightly lower than most and local so no shipping or extra ffl fees... plus I'm a sucker for a stainless, heavy barrel, varmint rifle.
My other question is, do you guys think it will retain it's value or increase considering the recent closure of KBI / Charles Daly?

If your concerned with it retaining it's value, go with a Colt platform, even if it's going to cost you more money.
The KBI/Charles Daly folks have been in business since the early 80's, under one name or another. Mostly selling various foreign imports, of varying quality.
In absolute terms I'm sure it's value will increase over time, nothing like one based on a Colt would though.
If KBI/Charles Daly has gone belly up, I personally wouldn't buy one of their products unless I could get it in a real sweetheart kind of deal. My 2?.0
