Need Help Identifying a Pistol

This is a repost of a previous topic. At first I thought that this might have been some type of Colt pocket pistol, but from the feedback I've recieved on the previous post, I believe it is a Harrington and Richardson. I did some searching, and I found a similar model called a "Banker's Special .32 Short". This makes sense, since my dad said the bore looks like a .32, but a .32 long stuck out the other side of the cylinder.

There are very limited markings on the pistol, and the marking we have been able to find take a magnifying glass to read.

On top of the barell there is stamped either "Colt sp f" or "Colt sp 6" (which is why I had origianlly thought this to be a colt pocket pistol). There is also a stamp on the side of barell that reads "Patented August 5," the year seems to be behind the seam of the barell and the body of the gun. We were able to locate a serial number "4812" under the left grip.

If anyone can help me identify this pistol, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I am having trouble identifying a pistol.It is a 7.65 32acp
    Markings are as follows slide left side 7.65 1915 AUTOMATIC PISTOLL GUERRE
    PARAMOUNT CAL.32
    On the right side behind the trigger
    SPAIN
    On the grips
    PARAMOUNT

    My best guess would be Hopkins and Allen chambered in .32 S&W. The .32 S&W is about 3/10 of an inch shorter than the .32 S&W Long and looks like it would fit that cylinder.

    I thought the "Colt sp" might be Colt NP for .32 Colt New Police which is what Colt called the .32 S&W round since they refused to put another gun makers name on their pistol, they just changed the name of the round. But that would be the same as the S&W Long so ........

    Looks like a Harrington and Richardson "American Model". H&R cranked these out from the early 1880s right up to the start of WWII. There were a bunch of different calibers, including .32 and .38 Colt (which probably is why the pistol is marked Colt) and quite a few barrel lengths.

    Mark is correct, but the barrel has apparently been replaced with a cut off Colt or other barrel. The cylinder pin also appears to be a replacement. It will be .32 S&W (not Colt) caliber and should have markings "The American Double Action" on the top strap, which have probably been polished off.
