DOM Ithaca SxS
My good friend just gave his grandson an old Ithaca 10 ga SxS shotgun. It is a hammerless model with twist steel barrels with a nice pattern remaining on the brown barrels and surprizing little pitting visible in the bores. There are some springs missing and it needs a good gunsmith's attention for evaluation and repair. I think it might make a candidate for a shooter if sleeved. Three questions; (1) Does anyone know a gunsmith in the Southeast US or Florida that can work on these old guns 2) based on the SN 93654 what was the approximate date of manufacture and (3) is this what is refered to as a "Baker" model Ithaca. Thanks for your help
Many thanks Bert. Anybody know who can work on these shotguns?

It is a 1903 vintage "Crass" model. The "Baker" model predates the Crass, and it had hammers vice being hammerless. 0
