What is the best distance to sight in a Viridian laser on a Walther P22?

  The answer depends a little bit on what kind of shooting you are doing. Ideally you want your gun to be zeroed at the distance you intend to do most of your shooting.
  
  Presumeably your .22 setup is intended for plinking at relatively close distances. So you shouldn't need to go out too far to zero the gun.
  
  I don't know if its the "best", but I generally sight in all pistols at 25 yards.
  
  With something like a laser that may be WAY off when you first attach it, you probably want to start off closer (eg 7 yards) with the first few shots just to get yourself "on paper" and close to zero.
  
  Then if you intend to stretch things a little, you go out to 25 yards and make sure you are fine-tuned.
