MY GREAT UNCLE PASSED AWAY IN DECEMBER & LEFT ME HIS ARISAKA TYPE 44,ALL THE MARKINGS ARE STILL VISABLE & IT IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE,CAN SOMEONE TELL ME ABOUT WHAT IT'S WORTH?

  kamp5151....hard to tell without photos. Like asking "I have a Ford, what do you think it is worth?" But your question does raise some questions like...how did your great uncle get it? What are the factory marks? Mum intact? Dust cover? Matched? Not a rare rifle and condition is everything. You should also know that "excellent shape" is open to interpretation, particularly when it comes to value. So, need more from you to give you a feel for what it is worth. Will tell you that in this down market it is not good to be selling as buyers are in control. But give us some more info so we can tell you what you have.
