Hi, Jimmy - If I read your post correctly, all you have is a barrel and receiver. Can you please post pictures?

I think you can find parts for your rifle quite easily the problem is you will have quit a bit of money in it when you get it done. The condition of the part you have will determine the condition of the part you buy for the rifle. If you have a nice finish and it is shoot-able the stock alone will cost you three hundred or more with correct markings. If it is a shooter I would buy a complete or parts gun and build up the one you have. I built a 1884 Trapdoor and ended up putting just about what it was worth in it to restore the missing parts so you see with a stripped receiver you will spend quite a bit more than the value of your rifle.

These are great shooting rifles and worth restoring according to how much money you have to spend.

First, let's figure out what you have, what you need, and if it's worth getting parts. Then we can help you.

This thread will show you how to post pics: http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=259294

If that's a problem, you can send them to me at kabarknives@att.net
