Weaver (I believe) used to make a mount that used the rear sight screw hole and a yoke arrangement that tightened two claws around the barrel just forward of the frame. No drilling/tapping involved, though when I used a similar mount on my K-38 it did leave a couple of small marring marks on the barrel after a season of silouette competition.

B-Square is the name you are looking for. As Mr. Crosby stated you have to remove the rear sight, and be sure to save all the parts, and the rest is self explanitory. It will provide you with a weaver style base for what ever you choose to mount.

Being that is an old model, and somewhat valuable, you might try a New Model SBH Hunter...has integral mount, and comes with rings. One can always use another gun. Just remember to ask for forgiveness after the fact, rather than permission before the fact...hehehehehe
