colt 9mm w/38 super slide
ive been looking for a colt series 70 1911, even toying with the idea of buying 9mm upper parts and building my own, i came across a 1911 9mm with a 38 super slide guys says brand new 9mm parts on a series 70 frame with a pre series 70 38 super slide, now my question is would this be reliable, how about acuracy, would it have resale value,
maybe i should keep looking, any thoughts or ideas would be helpfull

Hello I have one 1927 colt frame that I have set up with a number of conversion units that allow me to shoot 8 different projectiles from .177 pellets to 45ACP. All I have to do is to either remove or change the ejector. It was a fun project and gives me a GO TO pistol if SHTF. With that said any time you start modifying a firearm for your use just like a Car or Truck what pleases you most likely is a turn-off to 95% of other people.Because of this you most likely will never get your money out of it when or if you decide to sell this outfit. You ask the question about Reliability & Accuracy . These questions can only be answered in how well these parts either fit as made or how well you can fit them if they need to be tweaked.
