I do think this is an ok laser, and havnt gotten out to use it yet, so i cant say its a bad product, however i feel those are some down falls of the product design. I got it for 150 with their promo deal, however without that these are $300 products.

Maybe you get what you pay for but for $300 or even $150 it should work and be functional. I've about had enough of people who don't think anything is any good unless it costs over $1000.

This is true, but the high-quality 532nm green laser diodes are still relatively expensive. Its hard to even find a strong green laser pointer for under $50.

Throw in a reasonable recoil-proof mount with windage/elevation adjustment, and I don't think $150 asking price is crazy.

Whether or not a $150 plastic green laser is worth it is a whole other thing.

The laser's diode is the expensive part of the green wavelength. It sucks a lot more power too, hence the battery life tends to suck. So for $150.00, you might get one that turns on, but does not last too long. I sight of this type for the price it was...no wonder it deploys hard, and comes off hard. But on the other side of that fence, you don't want it to be loose, and not holding zero. The best way to keep the accessory rail on your SR9 looking new is not to use it. If you use it, expect it to show wear.

Jeeshhh...everyone want's something for nothing, then whines when they end up with nothing for next to nothing.

I wasnt posting this to whine, I just wanted to give a quick review for someone looking into one ( i didnt really find any out there). Im also not worried about my pistol showing wear, i just felt it would wear very quickly due to the fit. With that said thanks for your input, and the more i mess with the laser i see the importance of a tight fit, just feel its a little TO tight.
