How much is this gun worth?
I have a 1907 S&W tripple lock 44 spc. Very good condition. I also have the history report from S&W. Year 1930+- S&W-King Super Target sights were put on along with triger, hammer and smooth unnumbered target grips. The gun is unbelievably accurate, and well taken care of. I'm going to have the gun appraised for Insurance purposes but would like to have a second opinion. I know you havent see it but would you make a guess from the information I have provided?
Thank you,
Tim

I have a North Dakota Centennial Winchester 30-30 Rifle model 94 that is a collectors Limited Edition. It is 24 Karat Gold Plated and only 250 were made. Obviosly it has never been shot or handled much. It is stored in an enclosed case so it is in 100% excellant condition. Do you have any idea what I could get for this gun, or is there a site on the web that would appraise something like this? 0 -
$250 until we see good detailed pics.

Nice old school Pistol The fact that it has been modified will hurt the collector value even though it made it easier to target shoot with it. 0 -
I go to the S&W forums as well and Triple Locks are very desireable. Had yours been left alone it probably would fetch at least $1200 and up. with that sight installed and the wrong stocks I bet it would still fetch at least $600 to $800. 0 -
If you have the paperwork from S&W stating the target work was done at the factory, it might be worth more than a std. gun. 0
