Just interested to know more about this shell. My dad had it in his stuff from WWII. He probably picked it up in the Philipines. It is 7 1/2" long and just under 1 1/2" at the neck. By the markings, it must be japanese.

  I am guessing that was the Japanese version of a 30mm anti-aircraft gun.
