throw some used drier sheets cut up into pieces into the tumbler. They will pick up the dust.

I can clean the outsides of the cases, but was wondering about the insides. Seems like they need a water bath.

This is jewelers rugue it will not hurt a thing. Load and shoot them. The cheapest large bag of rice can also be used to great results in a case cleaner leave them slick but will not hurt the powder charge I buy 25 pound bags at places like SAM's you can also get crushed walnut shells with nothing added to them at Pet Smart.

    Don't worry about the inside.

If you feel the need for a water bath, go for it; but know that unless you use distilled water, it will leave watermarks on the case (spots).

It is unnecessary to clean the insides. But if you are the type who simply must, you need an ultrasonic cleaner. Hornady is coming out with out made for case cleaning. Harbor Freight sells a smaller one with a one-pint capacity if you don't mind doing lots of small batches.

Plain media works best in a tumbler. Walnut for cleaning, corncob for polishing. Leave out any liquid "polish", it just gunks up the media in no time.

Run them in some corn cob for a few minutes. That will catch the dust.
