Marine Air Group-16

Hello to all!
As a"pecker checker" in RVN, I served @ MAG-16 (marble mountain-
Da Nang) during '69 & '70. Flew near 400 Medivacs missions during that time, and damn proud of it. I'd be happy to hear from anyone around there during that time. Unfortunately, few of us left.
I like reading of the camaraderie of those posting here, and I am ashamed and embarrassed by the commander-in-chief the troops serving now must endure.

Sure appreciate you guys. I was at VMCJ-1 on the DA Nang base. We flew the Photo Recon and jamming. 0 -
Have a cousin that served at Marble Mountain in '69.
HMM 263 is all I know. I have recently been researching this group, and have found some very interesting information.
Every now and then, he will call me up and tell me a funny story.0 -
Was there either a USMC OR USN Copter Pilot Tom May stationed there at that time. He was a GOOD Friend who passed away last year. 0
