Holster Help Brauer Bros Manufacturing

Hi!
I was cleaning out the garage today and came across a holster I must have had for over ten years. The stamp in the leather states it was made by Brauer Bros Manufacturing Company of St. Louis. It is an RH belt holster with snap model BBLA87. It does not fit any of my current handguns. It looks like it was made for some sort of auto loader, but it is not a form-fitted holster. Anyone have any ideas what handgun this was made for?
