45 caliber touch hole liner?
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this. I'm trying to track down a touch hole liner for a 45 caliber CVA Kentucky pistol. So far, I've had no luck. My one option is to buy a percussion nipple, saw it off, and drill it out so I can put a smaller liner in there, but that's end up costing me more than the gun is worth. Any ideas or leads would be appreciated.

Dixie Gun Works can probably help you with that. 0 -
Either what was mentioned above or get a set screw and drill it out. 0 -
I'd take a careful look at that pistol just to make sure that you can install a liner. I realize that they varied in production methods over the years but my .45 CVA flintlock Kentucky pistol has the touchhole drilled on a forward slant, I would guess to clear a breechplug that goes into the barrel farther than the center of the pan. Doesn't interfere with ignition; the pistol fires just fine. 0 -
search around for a roll pin the size you need 0
